In a commanding display of prowess, the seventh-ranked Texas Longhorns clinched the 2023 Big 12 title with a resounding 49-21 victory over the No. 18 Oklahoma State Cowboys in the highly anticipated 2023 Dr Pepper Big 12 Football Championship held at Arlington, Texas.

With a career-best performance, Quinn Ewers, showcasing his exceptional talent, soared to new heights, amassing an impressive 452 passing yards and delivering four touchdowns. Among his remarkable throws was a memorable connection to T’Vondre Sweat, the 362-pound defensive tackle, who secured a touchdown in a standout moment during the game.

UT’s triumph marks their fourth overall Big 12 football championship title. Their previous victories were sealed in the inaugural 1996 season, during their 2005 national championship campaign, and in 2009 before competing in the BCS national championship game.
